Problem Description
When logging into the Druva Salesforce App through the Salesforce Console, administrators may encounter the error: "Failed authentication: Failed to authenticate to Salesforce org."
Cause
This error occurs when the OAUTH connection between Salesforce and Druva, established using admin credentials, is disrupted. This can happen due to permission issues stemming from a password change or changes in configurations, such as updates to the email address or modifications in login requirements (e.g., MFA enforcement).
Traceback
The error can be observed in the task table for incremental backups, displaying "Failed to authenticate to Salesforce org 'org name'." Additionally, the error may appear under the Manage License tab in the Settings section of the application.
Resolution
As a Salesforce Administrator, you can re-authenticate the org from the Environment Hub page to resolve this issue.
In the Druva App, click on Environment Hub.
From the drop-down menu next to the affected org, select Edit.
3. Enter the org credentials.
Once done, go to the settings tab, and under license, authenticate the org from the manage license tab:
Contact support if the issue is still not resolved.
