Overview
The Credit Consumption by Backup Set Report shows the monthly split-up of the estimated credit and storage consumption at the backup set level. By default, the report displays the estimated consumption by backup set level for the current month and the previous 3 months. An administrator can view the report and download it. There is a provision to email the report in CSV or PDF format to the intended recipients.
The Manage Subscription option allows you to edit the schedule of the report to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly intervals in PDF/CSV format. The recurrence of the scheduled report is as mentioned below:
Daily: A Daily report will be sent every day at the time set by the administrator.
Weekly: A Weekly report will be sent on the selected day of the week and at the time set by the administrator.
Monthly: A Monthly report will be sent on the selected day of the month and at the time set by the administrator.

By default, the report displays the estimated consumption details for the current month and the previous 3 months, irrespective of the recurrence.
You can also delete the schedule of the report, which will reset the settings for the scheduled report. For more credit-related information, see the article Druva Credits.

This report is not generated for customers who are onboarded through the AWS Marketplace or are in a non-term contract.
Procedure
Log in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console.
Click the Global navigation (three horizontal lines) icon to access the Global Navigation Panel > Reports > Hybrid Workloads. The Hybrid Workloads Reports page appears.
Click Credit Consumption by Backup Set.
The Credit Consumption by Backup Set report page appears. By default, the report provides estimated consumption details of the backup sets for the current month and the previous 3 months.

The report data is refreshed every two hours. The last updated time and date recorded for the report are displayed next to the report title. This timestamp follows the administratorโs time zone. However, the timestamps of the data fetched in the report follow the UTC time zone.

Month | The month in which the credits were consumed. | |
LTR Status | Displays the LTR status of the respective backup set. The possible values of the status are Enabled and Disabled. | |

The LTR/Archive status displayed reflects the latest update for the month, and any changes made will be reflected in the report the following day, as updates occur daily at 12:15 am UTC.

Estimation of Credit Consumption | Displays the value of actual credits consumed per backup set. | |
Estimation of Storage Consumption | Displays the value of actual storage consumed per backup set.

The estimated credit/storage consumption is computed by taking the aggregate of the actual credits consumed by the backup sets after deduplication.
Example: Consider you have three virtual machines (VMs) having exact same data and each VM consumes 3TB of storage. Since the data on all three VMs is same, Druva backs up the data for only one VM, using 3TB of storage. The other 2 VMs are not backed up, and so do not consume storage. In this case, the estimate of storage consumed by each VM is calculated as 3TB/3 = 1TB, resulting in 1 credit consumed by each VM. |
Actions
Apply filters
You can apply filters to the report to fetch details as per your requirements. You can view the generated report, download it, or send it through an email to the intended recipients.
Procedure to apply filters
On the Credit Consumption by Backup Set report page, click the Filter icon. The Filters widget appears.
The Filters widget displays a default filter with data populated for the current month and previous 3 months duration. You can define multiple filters based on your requirements. Druva will fetch report data based on the selected fields. Click the delete icon to remove filters.

The maximum duration for which the report displays data is for the current month and the preceding 12 months.
โClick Add Filter or Plus icon to add a new filter. The Filter dialog appears.
On the Filter dialog, select a field or type the field name in the Column box, and use the filter options to create a combination of filters, as shown in the below screenshot.
โClick Apply.
The Credit Consumption by Backup Set report page now displays data specific to the filters created. Similarly, you can further create more filters and apply them to display other activity details. You can view the applied filters in the Global Filters section under the Filters option.
โExample: To fetch the backup set details of the last quarter of 2023, select the Month column from the column field options, select the Equals option from the drop-down list, select the required quarter (Q4 2023), and then click Apply.
โThe report now displays backup set details for the selected quarter.
You can also disable/delete the filters that you no longer require. Click the Vertical three dots icon to disable/delete the selected Filters.
Similarly, you can apply the filters to individual cards by clicking on the Filter icon provided on each card. You can view the applied filters in the Panel Filters section under the Filters option.
Sort data
You can use the sort options to sort the report data into single or multiple columns in ascending or descending order.
Single-column Sort
Click the Sort icon to sort the data values in ascending/descending order or to disable the sorting option.
Multiple-column Sort
The Apply Multiple-column Sort option allows you to sort report data using more than one column. The report data is displayed based on the order of columns selected.
Example: Let us consider you want to fetch details of the Estimation of Credit Consumption data during a specific month. To sort data, simply perform the following steps:
In the Credit Consumption by Backup Set table, go to the Month column and click on the Vertical three dots icon > Apply Multi-column Sort.
Click the sort icon in the Estimation of Credit Consumption column.
The Credit Consumption by Backup Set table displays report data sorted based on the selected order of columns.
Rearrange columns
You can change the order of the columns in the Credit Consumption by Backup Sets table. Simply drag a column and drop it to the required position within the table.
