Overview
The Analytics feature gives you an insight into your deployment of various resources with Druva with respect to credits and storage consumption, cost allocation, and credit limits. Through various forms of graphs and widgets, you can perform an in-depth analysis of the total credits and storage consumed, source + changes data, current source data, the period for which the purchased credits can be consumed, source reduction factor, and the change rates. It also enables you to view the events and the audit trails for the same.
Analysis of credit and storage consumption can uncover correlations and patterns that in turn can help administrators troubleshoot and investigate consumption anomalies, if any. By introducing analytics, Druva aims to help your organization analyze and predict the consumption of credits and storage. This feature is enabled by default for all accounts.
Using the cost allocation capability, administrators can determine the aggregate storage consumption by all resources belonging to a specific department within an organization. Administrators can then assign a dollar value to this storage usage and forecast a budget accordingly.
With Credit Limits, you can configure the number of credits that an organization can consume and define appropriate actions when the limit is reached. For example, you might choose to disable an organization's backups or alert you when the credit limit reaches a defined limit. This feature benefits you by allowing you to create a cost-effective environment and track each organization's credit consumption.
To access the analytics data, click Analytics on the menu bar. Note that if an organization is enabled, then select All Organizations and then click Analytics. For more information, see Enable and Disable Organizations. This page is accessible to only the Cloud Administrator for Enterprise Workloads and the DCP administrators.
