Overview
You can delete one or more backup proxies associated with a Prism. However, to delete the last Backup proxy in the Backup proxy pool, you must first delete all the configured VMs in the Prism associated with the Backup proxy.
Druva will delete the Backup proxy seven days after the deletion of the last configured VM.
Prerequisite
To delete the last Backup proxy in the Backup Proxy Pool, ensure that all the VMs in the Prism are unconfigured.
Log in to the Management Console.
Select your Organization if Organizations are enabled
On the menu bar, click Protect > Nutanix AHV.
On the Prism page, click the Prism Element or Prism Central whose associated Backup proxy you want to delete.
In the left navigation pane, click Configured VMs.
In the right pane, click every configured VM one at a time. On the VM details page, click more options in the top right corner, and click Delete.
π Note
β Deleting a VM deletes all the recovery points associated with the VM and moves the VM to an unconfigured state.
Once all the VMs in the Prism are in the unconfigured state, you can delete the last Backup proxy
