New Feature

Protect backups from accidental or malicious deletion with Rollback Actions

You can now configure the Rollback Actions capability to enhance your organization’s data security posture and safeguard backup data from accidental or malicious deletion. With Rollback Actions, you can rollback deleted S3 backup sets within a configurable rollback window.

The deleted recovery points are available for rollback for a specific period, post which they are permanently deleted, and administrators can revert malicious or unintended deletes without any loss of data. For more information, see Configure backup sets for Amazon S3 buckets.

Customer action required: To enable Rollback Actions, you will need the Security Essentials license. To activate the license, contact Support.

Protect Amazon S3 data on Azure Cloud

With Azure Storage integration, you can now select your preferred Cloud Storage on Azure or AWS cloud ecosystems, depending on your business requirements.

Enhancement

Provision Druva Cloud Storage from a centralized location

You can now initiate requests for new Druva Cloud Storage from the Enterprise Workloads Management Console. This offers an integrated management of your Cloud Storage and enhances overall workflow efficiency and transparency.

With this enhancement, you can now:

  • Initiate new storage requests for AWS or Azure from the Storage page on the Enterprise Workloads Management Console.

  • Track your storage capacity requests with clear status indicators.

Restore Amazon RDS Backups Across AWS Accounts and Regions

We are excited to announce seamless restores of your RDS database and cluster backups across AWS Accounts and Regions. Enable cross-account and cross-region restore to enhance resiliency and ensure data recovery. Experience greater flexibility in selecting your encryption keys, with better access control to manage keys across multiple AWS accounts. For more information, see Restore RDS Backups.

Enhancement

Restore EC2 Instances with improved Network Configuration

With this enhancement, you can select from available preserved Elastic Network Interface (ENI), when restoring EC2 AMIs and EBS snapshots to an instance. Restore proceeds with associated security groups, preserving the network-level security configuration, enabling uninterrupted network continuity and seamless restore of your EC2 instances.
