The new Backup tab list all the Backup Sets configured in your Salesforce App to provide a simplified user experience. To enable the same, you need to configure the settings mentioned below.

From the Salesforce App, go to Settings -&gt; Setup.

Search for User management Settings and enable the Enhanced Profile User Interface option.

Go to the Profile Setup, select System Administrator profile and click Object Settings.

Navigate to Backup section and click Edit.

Select the Tab Setting to Default ON. The setting is now enabled.

Go to Salesforce App dashboard and refresh the page. The Backup tab will be visible on your Dashboard.

There may be scenario wherein the Backup tab is visible but the Backup sets and other options are not visisble. In such case, click the edit option on the top right of the tab to enable the Backup Tab listing
