What is the Jobs Page?

The Jobs page in Druva for Endpoints is your centralized dashboard to view the completed backups, restores and any ongoing real-time activities for your user devices.


What Can You Do on the Jobs Page?

  • Last Backups: This section will show the list of completed backups. The following information is present -

    • Data Source

    • User

    • Email

    • Last Completed Backup (Date when the last backup completed)

    • Backup Data (Size of the backed up data)

    • Last Backup Status

  • Restores: This section will show the list of completed restores. The following information is present -

    • Job ID

    • Data Source

    • User

    • Start Time

    • Mode

    • Data Restored

    • Items Restored

    • Status

  • Live Activities: We can use this section to view the ongoing real-time activities for your user devices. Whether you are backing up laptops and desktops or restoring files to a device, this page helps you keep track of all ongoing tasks as they happen.The following information is present -

    • Workload

    • Name

    • Email

    • Profile

    • Type

    • Start Time

    • Status

  • Operational Control: Manage your backup windows and system resources by monitoring and controlling active jobs in one place.


How Do I Access the Jobs Page?

  1. Log in to the Druva Data Resiliency Cloud.

  2. Navigate to Endpoints.

  3. Click on the Jobs option on the left side of the page.

What is the Live Activities Page?

The Live Activities page in Druva for Endpoints is your centralized dashboard to view real-time activities for your user devices. Whether you are backing up laptops and desktops or restoring files to a device, this page helps you keep track of all ongoing tasks as they happen.


What Can You Do on the Live Activities Page?

  • View a Summary of the Backup and Restore jobs: The total jobs, queued jobs and count of jobs started in the last 24 hours and 24 hours ago is visible.

  • See What’s Running: Instantly view all backup and restore jobs that are currently in progress for your Endpoints (laptops and desktops).

  • Monitor Progress: Check the status, start time, and progress of each job. You can easily identify which jobs are proceeding smoothly and which ones are queued or require attention.

  • Filter and Search: Quickly locate specific activities by filtering or searching by user name, device name, or job type (Backup or Restore).

  • Get Details: Click on any job to view more specific information, such as the amount of data being processed and user details.

  • Control Jobs: You have the ability to cancel running backup or restore jobs directly from this page if necessary.


How Do I Access the Live Activities Page?

  1. Log in to the Druva Data Resiliency Cloud.

  2. Navigate to Endpoints.

  3. Click on the Live Activities icon (usually located at the top right of the page) or select the Live Activities tab if available in your specific view.

    • Alternatively, you can often track a specific job by clicking the "View Progress" link immediately after initiating a backup or restore.

Here, you will see a list of all ongoing operations for your Endpoints data.

The following filters are available -

  1. For Last Backups -

We can filter on the basis of -

  1. Profile

  2. Last Backup Status

  3. Storage

  4. Device Connectivity - Active / Inactive

These are the option for the Last Backup Status dropdown -

  1. Backed up Successfully

  2. Backup Failed

  3. Backup Completed with Errors

  4. Backup Throttled

  5. Never Backed up

2. For Restores -

We can filter on the basis of -

  1. Status

These are the option for the Status dropdown -

  1. Restore Successful

  2. Restore Completed with Errors

  3. Restore Failed

  4. Restore Cancelled

3. For Live Activities -

We can filter on the basis of -

  1. Activity Type

  2. Profile

  3. Status

  4. Started

These are the option for the Activity Type dropdown -

  1. Backup

  2. Restore

These are the option for the Status dropdown -

  1. Running

  2. Queued

These are the option for the Started dropdown -

  1. In the last 24 hours

  2. 24 hours ago


Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I stop a backup or restore job from the Live Activities page?

A: Yes, if a job is currently running or queued, you can select it and click Cancel to stop the operation.

Q: What if I see a job that is "Queued"?

A: A "Queued" status means the job is waiting for resources or the device to come online. It will automatically start once the necessary conditions are met.

Q: Can I see completed jobs here?

A: No, the Live Activities page is dedicated to jobs that are currently in progress. To view a history of finished backups and restores, please navigate to the Jobs page or the specific Device details page.
