Overview

This document explains the steps for disabling inSync alerts.

Steps

• Access the Druva console using DCP admin or Insync product admin.

• Click on the menu button on the left top corner and go to the workload (Endpoints/Microsoft 365/Google workspace) page.

• On the navigation bar click on the alert’s icon.

- Click on the "settings and subscriptions" option at the right-hand side.

  • Search for the alert type that you want to customize.

  • Select the alert and click on "Edit".

  • In the “Send email notifications to (subscribers)” By default, it is set to “All Server Administrators”.

  • If you do not want anyone to receive this alert you can click on the small cross button and remove everyone.

  • You can also search for the admin manually if you want only specific admin to get the alert notification.

  • Click on Save.

Mute Alert Type

The Mute alert type allows you to temporarily disable or suspend an alert with a High or Warning severity level. By default, all alerts are active (unmuted). When you check the Mute alert type box, the alert is marked as muted.

To mute alerts:

  1. In the inSync Management Console, click on the alerts (Bell icon) from the top menu bar.

  2. Navigate to the 'Settings and Subscriptions' tab on the left to view a list of available alerts.

  3. Select the alert type you want to configure, then click Edit. This opens the Alert Settings window.

4. Select the Mute alert type checkbox. The alert is now muted.

5. Click Save.
