Problem Description:

SSO has been configured between the inSync Dell-linked-Customer instance and the IDP (Azure / Okta, etc.).

Cause:

The ACS URL for Druva, used for the SSO configuration in the IDP was: https://loginfederal.druva.com/api/commonlogin/samlconsume

But the SSO does not work due to the incorrect ACS url.

The above ACS URL is only for direct - Druva inSync - customers.

ACS URL is different for Dell-linked-inSync customer instances.

Resolution:

  1. The correct URL for Dell-Linked-inSync-Customer instances is https://dell-loginfederal.druva.com/api/commonlogin/samlconsume

  2. Entity ID = DCP-loginfederal

  3. Name ID Format = druva_auth_token

  4. Ensure to update this URL in the IDP configurations for SSO.
