Before you begin
Ensure you have Microsoft 365 global administrator credentials for your tenant with a valid license.
Register M365 tenant
Install the Druva App.
Grant Microsoft 365 permissions that the Druva app requires to perform backup and restore.
Review the default configurations recommended by Druva for data encryption and user deployment. You can update the settings as well.
After registration, all the resources are discovered automatically for each app.
Configure backup
After the discovery is complete, you need to configure the backup.
For Exchange Online and OneDrive
Select Quick configure to back up selective users.
Select Auto Configure to automatically configure existing and newly discovered users' backup by mapping Azure AD attributes, Groups, or importing all users.
For Teams, Groups, SharePoint Online, and Public folders
Select Manual Backup to back up selective resources.
Select Auto Configure to automatically apply backup configuration settings to backup existing and newly discovered resources.
