Overview
When creating or managing user profiles in Druva inSync, administrators can configure how users authenticate with the inSync Client. One option is to require users to log in using inSync credentials, which involves a username and password managed by inSync.
Enabling this option ensures that users must use their inSync-assigned password to access the client.
Procedure
To enable Login via inSync Password, follow these steps to configure the login mechanism:
1. Access the Profiles Section
From the Endpoints console, click on Profiles.
2. Select and Edit the Desired Profile
Click on the profile you wish to update.
At the top-right of the profile details page, click Edit.
Select the General tab from the dropdown menu.
3. Update Access Policy
In the User Privacy & Access section, locate the Access Policies area.
From the Login using dropdown, select inSync Password.
4. Save Changes
Click Save to apply the configuration.
