Update the rights assigned to a role

You cannot update the rights that you assign to Cloud admin.
You can only manage rights for Cloud administrators in the Business edition.
To edit rights assigned to an existing role:
On the Endpoints navigation menu, click ImageSettings> Manage Administrators.The Administrators page appears.
On the left navigation menu, click Roles. The Roles page appears.
Click the role for which you want to update the rights. The Roles page for the Admin Role appears.
In the Assigned Rights area, click Edit. The Edit Role page appears.

β You can assign Legal Hold Management rights to any role.
Select the rights you want to assign to the role and click Save.
Based on the rights you are assigning to an existing role you will need to manually assign workloads, profiles, or Legal Hold types to all administrators associated with this role. For example, if you are assigning User Management rights to the Legal Admin Role, you must assign workloads and profiles to all the administrators associated with the Legal Admin Role. See the following scenarios for more information.
Scenario 1
To assign User Management rights to an existing Legal Admin Role, perform the following steps:
On the Endpoints navigation menu, click ImageSettings> Manage Administrators.The Administrators page appears.
On the left navigation menu, click Roles. The Roles page appears.
Click the Legal Admin Role for which you want to assign the User Management rights. The Roles page for the Legal Admin Role appears.
In the Assigned Rights area, click Edit. The Edit Role page appears.
Select the User Management rights you want to assign to the role and click Save.
Click Administrators from the left navigation menu and click the administrator with which the Legal Admin Role is associated.
Click the Edit button on the upper right of the page. On the Edit Administrator page, click Next to navigate to the Access Control tab.
Select the workloads and profiles that you wish to assign to the administrator. Ensure that you have licenses for the workloads selected.
Click Finish.
Scenario 2
To assign Legal Hold rights to an existing Profile Admin Role, perform the following steps:
On the Endpoints navigation menu, click ImageSettings> Manage Administrators.The Administrators page appears.
On the left navigation menu, click Roles. The Roles page appears.
Click the Profile Admin Role for which you want to assign the Legal Hold Management rights. The Roles page for the Profile Admin Role appears.
In the Assigned Rights area, click Edit. The Edit Role page appears.
Select the Legal Hold Management rights you want to assign to the Profile Admin Role and click Save.
Click Administrators from the left navigation menu and click the administrator with which the Profile Admin Role is associated.
Click the Edit button on the upper right page. On the Edit Administrator page, click Next to navigate to the Access Control tab.
In the Legal Hold Types section, select:
All Legal Hold Types optionto assign all available Legal Hold Types to the administrator.
Custom Legal Hold Types option to assign specific Legal Hold Types to the administrator.
Click Finish.
