Purpose

This article clarifies the "Usage" statistics displayed for individual users on the "All Users" page within the Druva Management Console.

Overview

The usage statistics displayed are determined by the licenses your organization has subscribed to and the types of data you are backing up. These metrics provide a quick summary of the resources consumed by each user across different data sources.

Description

Key Calculation

1. Endpoints

The total number of unique endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, etc.) associated with the user and currently available in Druva.

Count of registered endpoints.

2. Endpoints Usage (% Quota)

The storage size consumed by the user's endpoint backups. If a Usage Quota is defined for the user's profile, the consumption will also be shown as a percentage of that quota.

The % Quota indicates how much of the user's defined Storage Quota has been consumed by this last backup, displayed as a percentage.

3. Microsoft 365 Usage

The total storage size consumed by the user's backed-up Microsoft 365 data.

Sum of the Last Backup Size for the user's Exchange Online and OneDrive data sources.

4. Google Workspace Usage

The total storage size consumed by the user's backed-up Google Workspace data.

Sum of the Last Backup Size for the user's Gmail and Google Drive data sources.

Key Takeaway

The usage figures (e.g., Endpoints Usage, Microsoft 365 Usage, Google Workspace Usage) consistently represent the Sum of the Last Backup Size for the respective data sources. This means the stats reflect the most recently completed backup size for that data.
